DERSİN AMACI
Bu dersin amacı üç boyutlu bilgisayar grafiklerinde kullanılan ışıklandırma, gölgelendirme ve kaplama gibi betimleme (rendering) tekniklerini tanımak ve üzerlerinde proje geliştirmektır. Bu amaçla işlemci ve grafik donanım programlamaları, ‘shading’ dilleri incelenecektir. Dersin ön koşulu iyi derecede C++ ve bilgisayar grafikleri bilgisidir.

Description

Aim of this course is using and developing projects on advanced rendering techniques such as illumination, shadowing and mapping which are used in three dimensional computer graphics. Some advanced software tools and languages will be used for programming CPU and GPU.

Prerequisites

- C# and C++ programming knowledge is required. 
- Data structures (pointers, lists, and memory allocation) will be used extensively.
- Basic linear algebra, geometry, and calculus

Assignments

There will be four or five programming assignments in this course. 

Tests

Assignments and one project (no midterm and no final exam)

Grading

Assignments: 60%, Project: 40%

Late Submission

Late submission of assignments or copy homeworks will not be fully graded. Projects can be works with group, but homeworks must be study individually.

Attendance

Lower attendance for all students wiil be degrade final note.

Please don't give internet copy works.
